AurallaurA is both palindromic and rhythmical: aural, of the ear, to listen. Listening is precisely what Laura Baasch has been doing with electronic music for 25 years — an audiophile first and a DJ second.
A mischievous selector who is not afraid to flirt across genres, she works with samples, hidden messages and layers, schooling the listener in electronic flavours like a modern Pied Piper.
Her sets carry a playful feminine energy, then throw down unexpected gauntlets of thick, driving basslines that have kicked the pants off many a dancefloor.
