About Mikey Dredd
With over 30 years of experience anchoring the dance music scene, Mikey Dredd is a seasoned selector whose career reflects the evolution of electronic sound itself. A true musical chameleon, his sets are defined by an expansive sonic palette that defies easy categorisation.
Moving fluidly across the spectrum, he navigates seamlessly from the deep, reverberating basslines of dub and the atmospheric grooves of trip-hop and downtempo, to the high-octane energy of drum and bass and the hypnotic, driving rhythms of psytrance.
His approach to the decks is rooted in pure passion and a deep-seated commitment to the dancefloor. Every set is meticulously curated to create an infectious energy, blending “dank” underground tracks with a vibrant, high-spirited vibe designed to keep the crowd moving from the first beat to the last. More than just a DJ set, a performance by Mikey Dredd is an invitation to experience genuine musical joy — a rhythmic celebration crafted by a veteran who lives for the connection between the music and the movement.
