The stage

What happens here

Sonic Horizon carries the opening ceremony, and from the moment the first set starts the floor never closes again — through Friday night, all of Saturday, and on to Sunday afternoon.

The projection mapping and visuals throughout come from Ohm Visual, the Cape Town VJ duo lighting up every set on this stage.

The opening

Ceremony at quarter to four on Friday. Everything else on this stage follows from it.

Through the nights

Psytrance in its full range, from the driving and full-on to the dark and hypnotic, held from dusk to well past dawn.

The linkup

The gathering reaches this dancefloor for the Prayer for Peace — the fifteen minutes shared with every Earthdance on Earth.

The close

Sunday is always fun-day, uplifting and energetic beats from morning to the closing ceremony at 5pm.

Sound on this stage is supplied and engineered by 8-bit Productions, running on a d&b audiotechnik system.
