Bring a practice to the programme

Earthdance is more than its dancefloors. If you lead a workshop, hold a movement or yoga practice, give talks, or share a skill worth gathering around, we want to hear what you would bring.

Why Collaborators

The daytime life of the gathering

Between the music, Earthdance runs on participation: workshops, movement sessions, talks, ceremonies and shared practices that give people ways to meet the gathering — and each other — beyond the dancefloor.

That programme is not booked from a catalogue. It is built with collaborators: people from the community who have a practice they can hold well in a festival setting, and who want to offer it as part of the event.

To be clear about who this page is for: a collaborator here is someone offering programming — a session people attend. If you want to trade, see Vendors; if you want to join the crew, see Volunteers.

What We Are Looking For

Kinds of offerings

Movement & embodiment

Yoga, dance, ecstatic and conscious movement, contact practices, breathwork.

Workshops & skill-shares

Hands-on sessions people leave having made, learned or tried something.

Talks & conversations

Grounded talks or facilitated circles that suit an outdoor gathering — ideas worth sitting down for.

Sound & ceremony

Sound journeys, ceremony and ritual practices held with skill and care.

If your practice doesn't fit these boxes but belongs at a gathering like this, apply anyway and tell us clearly what it is. We read everything.

What makes an offering work here

  • it can be held outdoors or in a simple covered space, on farm terrain
  • it works for a drop-in festival audience, not only a committed class
  • you can hold the space yourself, from setup to close
  • it fits the spirit of the event — participatory, grounded, real
  • you have actually run it before, or can show us how you would
The Process

From idea to timetable

What to prepare before applying

  • your name and contact details
  • a clear description of the session you are offering
  • how long it runs and how many people it can hold
  • what space, time of day and equipment it needs
  • your experience holding it — links, photos or references help
On exchange: what Earthdance can offer collaborators — whether tickets, exchange, support or simply a platform — depends on the session and the programme as a whole, and is agreed individually in conversation.
  1. Express interestSubmit the collaborator expression of interest form with a clear picture of your offering.
  2. CurationWe review offerings against the programme as a whole — variety, balance, space and scheduling.
  3. ConversationIf there is a fit, we get in touch to shape the session, agree practical details and confirm your slot.
