Plan Your Stay

Glamping & camping

Earthdance is a multi-day camping gathering, and spending the weekend on site is part of the experience. General camping is included with your festival ticket — or upgrade to a pitch beside your car, or walk into a ready-made tent.

Staying at Earthdance

Wake up inside the gathering

Camping keeps people close to the rhythm of the weekend: the music, the mornings, the long flat hours in between, and the shared atmosphere of being together in one place. You don't drive home from Earthdance at 2am — you walk back to your tent under the stars, and the farm is still there when you unzip in the morning.

For 2026, general camping comes with every festival ticket: bring a tent, pitch it in the general camping area, and there is nothing more to pay and nothing more to book. Beyond that, five paid options are bookable on Quicket, on the same event page as festival tickets: camping with your car beside your tent from R350, and ready-set canvas glamping tents for two from R3,000. Glamping prices are per tent for two people; festival tickets are purchased separately. The one-only Morado Experience, a separate stay for two, is now sold out. Every option is described below.

General camping is included with your festival ticket and needs no booking. Each canvas glamping price is for one tent sleeping two people, and festival tickets are purchased separately. The four canvas glamping options include charging access, shared social space and staff support. Book the five paid options on Quicket, on the same event page as festival tickets.

General Camping

Pitch your own tent in the general camping area — nothing extra to book, nothing extra to pay

Your festival ticket already includes somewhere to camp. If all you need is a place to put your tent, you were sorted the moment you bought it.

Bring your own tent and camping setup and pitch it in the general camping area, a short walk from the parking. There is nothing to add to your cart, nothing to reserve and no separate camping fee — arrive, park, and carry your gear in.

  • Cost included with every festival ticket
  • Booking nothing to pre-book — just arrive
  • Bring your own tent, mattress, bedding, chairs and camping equipment
  • Best for campers happy to carry their kit a short way from the car

Your tent already has a home. Get the ticket that comes with it.

BYO Camp & Park

Your own tent and camping setup, with space to camp right next to your car

The upgrade for guests who would rather not carry anything: your vehicle parks alongside your tent.

General camping is already included with your ticket, so this is what you add if you want the car at your pitch rather than in the parking area — unloading becomes a few steps instead of a walk. You still bring your full camping setup: this option does not include a supplied tent, mattress, bedding or shade structure.

  • Best for self-sufficient campers who want their vehicle beside the tent

Good to know before you arrive: dedicated glamping parking is provided near the glamping area. Dedicated security will be on site, but please lock valuables in your car rather than leaving them in your tent. Glamping guests have dedicated toilets and share a shower block; additional standing showers and toilets are available elsewhere on site. Two pillows with pillowcases are included in each tent. September nights are still nippy, so bring additional blankets.
Food and drinks: the shared social area includes tables and access to charging points, but no kitchen equipment is provided. Bring your own plates, cups, forks and spoons. Glass, gas canisters, gas cooking equipment and knives are prohibited, and security will check for prohibited items at the gate.

How Booking Works

Clear options, no guesswork

General camping needs no booking at all — it comes with your festival ticket. The five paid camp and glamping options are booked through Quicket, on the same event page as festival tickets. The one-only Morado Experience is sold out for 2026.

  • General camping is included with your ticket. There is nothing to add to your cart and nothing to reserve.
  • Each paid Quicket option is listed separately with its own price and inclusions — check the listing for full details.
  • Glamping tents sleep two guests each, and capacity is limited: if you want one, book early.
  • Accommodation guests get arrival and check-in guidance before the festival, and the same information is published here.
Before You Book

Know what you're walking into

Glamping covers your bed, not your kitchen: the shared social space has tables and charging points, but no kitchen equipment. Bring plates, cups, forks and spoons; glass, gas canisters, gas cooking equipment and knives are prohibited.

The BYO Camp & Park option gives you space to camp beside your car — your full camping setup is yours to bring.

Whatever you choose, read Practical Info for what to pack: spring on the farm means warm days and properly cold nights.
